Autonomy Care supports you in the community and in your own home regardless of your level of support needs.

The support we offer ranges from the very demanding, which may include complex learning or physical disabilities, mental health, palliative care or a hospital discharge, to assisting with essential daily life skills such as shopping. Our clients are all ages, from children to senior citizens, and our support is available around the clock with an out-of-hours on call system in place.

Our specialist team are experts in person-centred assistance and staff undertake accredited Positive Behaviour Support training. Few care providers offer this. In our view it is essential for complex needs and transforms the quality of care across the board.

Individualised support

We work with our clients to establish not only their needs but also their desires and aspirations, and our support is precisely tailored to achieve both. We work with individuals, and those significant in their lives, to set - and achieve - short, medium, and long term goals.

These may change over time, so support plans are regularly reviewed and updated. This holistic approach is very person-centred and promotes positive outcomes and development of skills for life and leisure.

“I cannot recommend this company enough. The care they provide is absolutely outstanding! The management there are so kind and thoughtful and nothing is too much trouble for them. Always willing to go the extra mile for everyone. Such an amazing team!"

Appreciation post for our Registered Manager Sammy 💐

Staff have said that Sammy always keeps information confidential and staff feel confident approaching Sammy when they have concerns or problems. Sammy always makes time for others, although she is always very busy herself. Sammy gets things sorted! You know that information discussed, will be actioned. When you ask her to complete something for you, it is always done either straight away or in a very short time scale. Sammy is friendly, supportive, approachable and always happy. Sammy always has time for the service users and will make conversation with them whenever we visit them. Sammy always has a smile on her face and approaches things in a positive manner. She is really supportive and always checks in with staff, even in the evening when she is at home and notices that an ABC or incident has been submitted, she will always check in with you to make sure you are okay. Sammy is so committed to her role, she arrives at the office early every morning and will always stay later if needed to ensure that things are in place and staff and service users are safe and happy. Sammy never receives half of the recognition she deserves and we all think she is absolutely amazing!
Thank you so much for being an outstanding Manager! 😊 From your team at Community Services - Autonomy Care
